Bill Murray is as versatile an actor as one can imagine. He has played everything from a burned out gardener, a camp counselor, to a World War I soldier in search of enlightenment. In every role he has this type of comedic arrogance that only he can pull off. A brilliant, brilliant man. Most of these films the layman has seen, except Where the Buffalo Roam ( 1980 ). In this film, Murray plays eccentric journalist Dr. Hunter S. Thompson, a role Johnny Depp would play some fifteen years later. If you haven't seen this one, go rent it. You will laugh, you may not get it, but you will definitely laugh.
